Hello and how are ya'?

Updated: Nov 21, 2020

Hi, this is my first foray into the world of web pages so I hope it works for you. This is the place where I'll post links to my published works, throw in a bit of 'free for all' flash fiction and just generally stay in touch with anyone who's interested in my work and what I do. I know times are tough at the moment with this enduringly destructive pandemic and I hope that you are all staying safe and well and coping with the anxiety and uncertainty as well as you can. Hopefully a little bit of escapism will help - I know it does for me and so I sincerely hope it will for you too. Please get in touch with me on the contact page and let me know what you think of my work, the kind of things you want to read about and whether you get anything out of the website. Whatever - I'll leave it up to you. Thanks for reading the blog and hope to hear from you soon. Happy reading!!

PS. This is a picture of my wife and I at the Faversham Hop Festival in 2019 which we attend every year with our best friends, the Wild Cherries. The Hop Festival partly inspired the Festival of the hunt for Lord Evreux in the Maidens of Fey, so if you read the story and want a little slice of that world maybe we'll see you at the festival in 2021 (COVID willing).

PPS. If you enjoyed reading about DI Luke Raven's exploits in 'Pale Face & The Raven' you'll be pleased to hear that I've just typed 'The End' on the last page of the sequel, 'The Hawk & The Raven'. Some of the old faces return along with new characters, a brand new dark adventure and an arch nemesis I really enjoyed creating and exploring. Watch this space for more news.
